Painting is my joy and my escape. I like the spontaneity of applying paint in loose brushstrokes, the blending, the shaping, the glazing as well as the playfulness of decorative details. Getting lost in this process gives me joy that I hope is contagious.
Painting interiors and still life, I let my imaginations run free. Inside these rooms and often vintage inspired settings, the viewer gets to travel the world and encounter a menagerie of animals. Rooms start to have a life of their own, while colours and patterns set the mood.
