This exhibition of 37 works is the culmination of a year’s work in my studio. I like to work in themes which I call collections. There are three collections in this exhibition. All involve the birds from our garden visiting – or playing with beautiful objects, in my imagination. Birds and their songs are constant companions through every day as I work in my studio. I am not ashamed to say that I am drawn to collecting beautiful things – particularly beautiful old, vintage, and antique objects. They bring me joy every day. A little whimsy is always thrown into each piece – just for fun.
