Techniques in Colour Pencil.  BOOKED OUT

Janet will teach you her special techniques for creating detailed, realistic and vibrant drawings in colour pencil.  Beginning with basic techniques, we will apply them to studies of Leaves, a Flowering Gum flower and a bird (feathers- Fairy wren).

Colour pencil is a wonderful medium, ideal for creating rich colours, sharp detail.  Janet has developed some special techniques to make creating textures easily. Workshop suitable for beginners or advanced students.

Students to bring along:

• Colour pencils – Faber Castell Polychromos recommended
• Paper- Hot press 300gsm (smooth) – Saunders Waterford High White recommended
• Graphite pencil – F or HB
• Erasers – kneadable and a hard eraser
• Stylus – small and medium sized points (optional as Janet can supply these)
• Drawing board
