An exhibition of just dogs with a mix of hand-built sculptures by Amanda Harrison together with contemporary
paintings by Aidan Weichard.
Amanda Harrison works from her studio in Greenwich, Sydney where she creates works in clay, wax and marble. She has exhibited widely and has won many awards including the Acquisitive Prize for Small Sculpture at the Sculpture in the Gardens (Mudgee) as well as the Abstract Sculpture Prize at the Royal Arts Show in Sydney. Her cute and quirky dogs have lots of character and personality and are very popular with dog lovers and art collectors.
Aidan Weichard As well as the native wildlife, Weichard’s practice focuses on industrious farm animals, livestock and working dogs – subjects that have consistently stood out to the artist for their stoic and loyal nature. Vitality and vigor are at the center of each of Weichard’s work.
The artist’s message is simple: ‘Mindful reflection of this amazing place, and the incredible things within it’…
