This charity online sale is for LASSIE – The Langkawi Animal Shelter and Sanctuary who is currently caring for 200 dogs and 100 cats on the island of Langkawi in Malaysia. Narelle McMurtie, an Australian, has for 20 years rescued and sheltered street dogs.  There was no veterinary clinic on the island when Narelle first arrived. Now Lassie has it’s own open to the public veterinarians, as well as separate dog and cat shelters.

All funds from the sale of the painting, sold to the highest bidder on October 5th, will go to Lassie. Bidding closes at 4pm on 5th October 2021.
